The CJC® Jacking Gear Filter is designed for filtration of high-viscosity oils up to VG 680 on vessels with jacking gears, such as oil rigs and wind turbine installation vessels. The unit features frequency-controlled pumps, automatic filtration, and a built-in CJC® Oil Contamination Monitor, OCM15 for real-time contamination tracking. It is equipped with NORSOK-certified lifting eyes, stainless steel fittings, a tarpaulin cover, and an insulated tank for high energy efficiency. A magnetic strainer removes ferrous particles, while a silica gel air breather prevents moisture ingress. The stainless steel control box, LCD screen, and touchpad allow for intuitive operation, with automatic warnings and control valves ensuring safe use.
Filtration Process
The large HMI touch display enables easy operation. The operator sets the oil temperature, starts the process, and the unit runs automatically:
- Preheats oil and verifies filter insert pressure difference
- Cleans oil by removing particles and water contamination
- Generates an Oil Filtration Report
- Signals completion when the desired cleanliness level is reached
The CJC® Oil Contamination Monitor, OCM15 continuously tracks oil cleanliness throughout the process, ensuring efficient filtration and reliable system performance.
